As a Mechanical Fitter & Turner, you will maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Acacia Ridge QLD. You will also be required to carry out site works to ensure our organization remains the supplier of choice. Your responsibilities will include: Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical Seals and Other Rotating Equipment and plant systems. Personnel, plant, and environment safety is top priority and responsibility Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor. Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations. Complete all required corresponding documentation to completed tasks. Who are you? Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential. Experience with Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical Seals and Other Rotating Equipment is important. Flexible and adaptable as the business requires, and able to work under Minimal Supervision. Computer literate: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS. Knowledge of mechanical seals, Shaft Laser Alignments and condition monitoring advantageous. What we offer: Performance-based incentives!
