YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for an experienced fitter with technical expertise and a hands-on mentality. You have:

• Experience with steel pipes and welding preparation (experience with 2” to 40” is a strong plus)
• The ability to read and understand construction and technical drawings
• Experience with various clamping tools and pipe-fitting techniques
• Knowledge of heating methods such as gas or induction
• Experience in cutting and grinding pipes
• A valid VCA certificate, or the willingness to obtain it
• A flexible attitude and readiness to work abroad
• Language skills: Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French or English is a plus
• A Category B driving license

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for skilled fitters who are willing to work abroad.
As a fitter, you are a crucial part of our welding team. You are responsible for organizing and performing welding preparations and pipe installations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Pipe preparation and positioning: Accurately positioning steel pipes (ranging from 2 to 40 inches) at the correct distance and angle, ready for welding
• Welding preparation: Heating the pipes (using gas or induction), cutting and grinding them to size, and preparing them for welding according to specifications
• Reading construction plans: Interpreting technical drawings to follow welding procedures precisely
• Using clamps: Working with various types of clamps (internal, external, chain, and elbow clamps) to fix pipes securely
• Work organization: Coordinating planning with the site workflow, taking initiative, and ensuring continuity of the tasks
• Inspection and quality control: Checking the preparation work to ensure compliance with all required standards and specifications
