In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and components with precision and efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced industrial environment where accuracy and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work methodically to ensure all installations and assemblies meet exact specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine assembly and installation requirements Assemble mechanical components and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Install equipment and systems according to technical specifications and quality standards Perform precise measurements and alignments to ensure components fit correctly and function optimally Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on installed equipment to identify and address potential issues Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement corrective actions in a systematic manner Maintain organized workspaces and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained Comply with all safety regulations, protocols, and procedures to maintain a secure work environment Document work completed, including measurements, adjustments, and maintenance activities Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality objectives Qualifications Proven experience working as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly and installation role Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Demonstrated expertise in mechanical assembly, installation, and alignment procedures Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and best practices Experience with equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures Ability to work with precision and attention to detail in all tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection procedures Preferred: Experience with CNC machines or automated equipment Preferred: Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Preferred: Welding or fabrication experience Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial maintenance environments Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Operations and Maintenance - Operational
