JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Fitter/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding techniques, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. This role involves working with various materials to fabricate and assemble components for various projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent;
· Technical degree or certification in welding/fabrication is a plus.
· Proven experience as a fitter/welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
· Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Valid welding certification (CWB or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

· Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate fabrication methods.
· Perform welding and fitting tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes to assemble metal components.
· Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using various tools and equipment, including saws, shears, and plasma cutters.
· Ensure high-quality standards by inspecting and testing welds and assembled products for strength and integrity.
· Maintain and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
· Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving during the fabrication process.
· Assist in training new team members on fabrication and welding techniques as needed.
