CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:

· Experience working with manual brake press, guillotine, grinders and drills
· Experience in Mig and Tig welding
· Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
· Proficient in maths
· Basic computer skills
· Solid communication skills

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

· Able to fabricate and Tig weld small components in stainless steel
· Able to fabricate and Mig weld medium size frames
· Operate folding machine
· Travel to job sites as needed to service machines and replace parts
· Assemble machines when required

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Mig and Tig welding
· Use a variety of tool including brake press, guillotine, grinders and drills to shape and modify metal parts
· Interpret drawings and specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances of the parts
· Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment
· Maintain a safe and clean workstation
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as required
· Assemble machines accurately in production
· Service machines, replace parts and write a service report
