Position: Fitter/Fabricators Location: Cocoa, FL Duration: Contract to Hire Shift: 1st Shift Pay Rate: Up to $26.00/hr. (Depending on experience) We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Steel Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital role in fabricating and assembling structural steel components, ensuring the integrity and quality of our projects. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute your expertise to impactful construction projects, we want to hear from you! \n Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements. Perform fitting and welding tasks according to project specifications and industry standards. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabrication and welding processes. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives. Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fitter or similar role Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials. Has the ability to set-up and use track torch. Ability to pass all test for Flux Core Welding Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) preferred. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
