About the role Opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at our new Mesh manufacturing site in Newcastle. You will be working on new machines at a brand-new purpose-built site.   Key responsibilities include:   Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum asset reliability Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding tasks while identifying opportunities for improvement Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or amongst a team Involvement in Root Cause Analysis investigations and corrective actions   This role is available for rotating shifts: Days (6 am to 2:30 pm), Afternoons (2 pm to 10:30 pm), and occasional Nights.   Hourly Pay Rate: $50.03/hr + overtime + 15% afternoon shift allowance   We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:   Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment Hydraulics and Pneumatics or post trade certificates are highly regarded SAP exposure, Effective verbal, and written communication skills Strong safety focus, can-do attitude Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills Forklift, and EWP tickets are highly regarded   As a new member of our team, you will enjoy the following perks:   Permanent, long-term employment Generous Superannuation co-contribution arrangements On-the-job Training The opportunity to obtain relevant tickets/competencies/licences, funded by InfraBuild Rostered day off (RDO) once per month On-site parking Career Development and progression Bonus Structure, and reward and recognition program Key Benefits Below are some of our key central benefits that are available to InfraBuild employees.
