JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as a solid foundation in mechanical knowledge and assembly practices. The Fitter will be responsible for ensuring that all components are accurately fitted and assembled according to specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience on construction sites or in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick) is essential.
  • Familiarity with operating cranes and forklifts safely.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Experience with fabrication processes including soldering and machining is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ductwork installation and assembly practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate and assemble components.

  • Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision in fittings.

  • Engage in rigging activities to safely move materials around the construction site.
  • Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the fitting process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
