JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with expertise in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with metal components to assemble and fabricate products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in welding and fitting within a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools for precise measurements.
  • Strong understanding of basic math concepts related to measurements and calculations in fabrication tasks.
  • Experience with machining processes is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform FCAW, GMAW & SMAW welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks.
  • Operate machinery such as oxy / act torch, plasma cutters, and drills as needed.
  • Conduct rigging operations safely to move heavy components during assembly.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the welding or fitting process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
