JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to assemble and fabricate components in accordance with specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Location: Concord, Jane and Hwy 407
Schedule: Monday - Friday (sometimes Saturdays), 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

SKILLS

• Proficient in MIG welding and Stick welding techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with rigging practices for safe material handling.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation accurately.
• Competence in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and assembly processes.

• Perform MIG and Stick welding on a variety of materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts for fabrication tasks.
• Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements using calipers and basic math skills.
• Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
