You are an experienced Capital Asset Accountant with over 5 years of proven working success in a fixed asset role, exhibiting strong IFRS knowledge. Ideally, you will have a CPA or equivalent accounting designation, but it isn’t a requirement. You are a dedicated professional demonstrating profound expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance/trend analysis for capex, you have proven yourself to be an indispensable asset in any financial team. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

5+ years’ experience in a fixed asset role
Strong IFRS Knowledge
CPA or equivalent accounting designation preferred but not required
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Calling all Capital Asset Senior Accountants! Our Edmonton based client is looking for a consultant to come in and support their team for up to a 6-month term.
As the Capital Asset Senior Accountant your duties will include:
Completing month end tasks related to capital - asset expenditures, asset retirements, etc.
Preparation and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Schedule
Budgeting, forecasting and variance/trend analysis for capex
