Job Title: Fixed Asset & Lease Accounting & Reconciliation Analyst Grade: Contractual Location: Islamabad Last date to Apply: 23rd Feb 2026 Role Objective (JD Summary) Support the physical verification of fixed assets across ~10,500 tower sites by validating vendor verification outputs, reconciling them with the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), and ensuring accurate capitalization, tagging, location mapping, and compliance. Support IFRS-16 compliance by verifying lease contracts, validating commercial terms, and accurately configuring and uploading lease data into SAP RE-FX, ensuring correct recognition of ROU assets and lease liabilities across tower sites. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Output Validation Review site physical verification reports submitted by field vendors Validate: Asset existence Asset count vs FAR Asset condition, usage, and ownership Tagging / serial number accuracy Onsite visit to sites for output validation Flag discrepancies such as: Missing assets Unrecorded assets Mismatched quantities / descriptions Incorrect site or cost center mapping 2. FAR Reconciliation & Clean-Up Reconcile physical verification results with FAR master, CWIP records and Retired / transferred asset registers Prepare adjustment proposals: Capitalization / de-capitalization Asset splitting or merging Location and custodian corrections Coordinate with Asset Accounting team for postings 3. Data Cleansing & Standardization Standardize: Asset descriptions Asset categories Useful life and depreciation methods Ensure alignment with: Company capitalization policy Accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / local GAAP) 4. Reporting & Tracking Maintain site-wise and vendor-wise reconciliation trackers Track: Verification completion % Pending discrepancies Support internal / statutory audit queries related to FAR clean-up 5. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with: Verification vendors Regional ops / site teams Finance controllership IT / ERP teams (SAP / Oracle / etc.) 6. Lease Contract Verification Review, validate and upload lease agreements in SAP RE-FX module related to: Tower land Rooftop sites Shelter / access / easement arrangements Verify critical IFRS-16 parameters: Lease term (including renewal & termination options) Fixed and variable lease payments Escalation clauses Lease incentives Restoration / dismantling obligations (ARO) Qualification Requirements Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Strong working knowledge of: Fixed asset accounting FAR maintenance Preferred / Value-Add CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance / ACCA Exposure to telecom / infrastructure / utilities / EPC sectors ERP experience: SAP FI-AA (strongly preferred) Oracle / other asset modules Experience Requirements 2–6 years of relevant experience Must-Have Experience Fixed asset accounting or FAR management Physical asset verification or asset audit support Large-volume data handling (10k+ assets) Reconciliation between physical assets and books Lease accounting under IFRS-16 / Ind AS 116 Hands-on SAP RE-FX contract creation and maintenance Reading and interpreting legal lease agreements Large-volume lease portfolios Behavioral / Project Skills High attention to detail Ability to work with incomplete / imperfect field data Strong follow-up and coordination skills Deadline-driven mindset Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume tasks
