Primary Duties & Responsibilities Key Job Duties & Responsibilities                                                                                                                     •    Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register with accurate asset details (cost, location, category, depreciation, and useful life). •    Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and write-offs in the accounting system. •    Ensure asset capitalization complies with company policies and accounting standards. •    Perform monthly depreciation and complete closing in the system. •    Prepare and post journal entries related to fixed asset transactions. •    Ensure depreciation schedules are accurate and properly maintained. •    Ensure maintain proper asset tagging and tracking for effective control. •    Perform monthly reconciliation between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. •    Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules for month-end and year-end closing. •    Track capital expenditure (CAPEX) against approved budgets and monitor asset-related spending. •    Ensure SOP is created and up to date •    Support internal / external audit and tax related request •    Support ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by Corporate                                                                                                                                   Skills & Qualifications                                                                                                                              •    Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3-4 years working experience in fixed assets job     •    Able to work under minimum supervision & meet deadlines                                                     •    Able to effectively communicate with working partners in foreign countries         •    Team player to lead projects / improvement process          •    Experience with common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Oracle E—Business Suite preferred •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills                                                                                                                                                                                 Working Conditions                                                                                                                     This role is hybrid           Culture Commitment Ensure adherence to company’s values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.: Integrity – Create an Environment of Trust Collaboration – Innovate Through the Sharing of Ideas Accountability – Own the Process and the Outcome Respect – Recognize the Value in Everyone Enthusiasm – Find a Sense of Purpose in Work   Coherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. Perform monthly reconciliations between the subledger and general ledger while tracking CAPEX against budgets.
