QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional work experience, ideally in the investment industry, with a preference for fixed income experience and roles that utilize strong communication and analytical skills
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • CFA preferred
  • Languages strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
  1. Responds promptly to client queries on the fixed income index and active range
  2. Interprets and analyzes highly complex data using business and investment acumen in order to derive key insights. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, organizes, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable fund insights, to support distribution teams and client engagement
  3. Presents macroeconomic outlook, investment process and fund features to distribution teams, and in due course, clients.
  4. Assists in assessing the strength of Vanguard’s product offer relative to specific business lines through analysis of strategic, competitive, client and market issues relating to Vanguard’s Fixed Income investment product line-up. Conducts analysis of comprehensive and challenging research questions facing the fund lineup. Develops materials to share findings and conclusions with senior management and distribution teams (e.g., presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.)
  5. Stays abreast of industry, market, and competitive trends. Supports efforts to keep the distribution team informed of key industry, competitive, and product trends. Leverages new research and relationships to inform strategic recommendations.
  6. Develops effective working relationships with key stakeholders including distribution, the fixed income group, and marketing.
  7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
