Description The Fixed Operations Business Analyst focuses on analyzing departmental metrics, identifying trends, and recommending actionable strategies to improve efficiency, workflow, and overall performance. They will work closely with the Service Manager and dealership leadership to support data-driven decision-making and optimize departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze service department performance metrics, including technician efficiency, service revenue, labor hours, and customer satisfaction data. Develop and maintain KPIs for management review. Identify workflow inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational gaps; recommend improvements. Collaborate with Service Manager and department leads to implement process improvements and track results. Monitor scheduling, labor utilization, and productivity trends to ensure optimal resource allocation. Assist in cost analysis and departmental budgeting processes. Support dealership-wide initiatives requiring departmental data, reporting, or analysis. Participate in the evaluation of new tools, software, and systems that improve operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of departmental metrics, reports, and historical performance trends. Support special projects as assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience with automotive or heavy-duty truck dealership operations preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills; able to present data-driven recommendations clearly to management. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
