QUALIFICATION

  • Excellent communication skills are required to work with customers, employees and vendors.
  • 3+ Years of experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
  • 3 years managerial experience
  • Basic computer skills
    Compensation
    Competitive salary: $55k - $65k (commensurate with experience)
    Bonus structure with earning potential of an additional between $25k - $50k.

Responsibilities
  • Process Management and Continuous Improvement: Constantly seek and document opportunities to enhance the speed, efficiency, and quality of our processes, especially those related to vehicle reconditioning and preparation for sale.
  • Service Sales and Coaching: Through ongoing learning, define and implement our process for Guest Service Visits. Maximize both the guest experience and profitability of each interaction through effective coaching and processes, including ensuring a Vehicle Health Report (Walk Around) is completed for every guest, every time.
  • Parts Sales and Aging: Collaborate with the Parts Team to optimize parts inventory management, retail and wholesale sales volume, and gross margins.
  • Service Marketing: Utilize our DMS/CRM to maintain relationships with current guests and implement external marketing programs to attract new business.
  • Human Resources: Oversee all HR activities within your departments, including leadership, hiring, coaching, managing, discipline, motivation, and termination.
  • Planned Team Meetings: Conduct regular Technician and Advisor meetings, as well as monthly full-team meetings to maximize communication, motivation, and leadership within the Fixed Operations team.
  • Sales Department Interaction: Work daily with the Sales Team to optimize interdepartmental operations, leading to the highest possible levels of guest experience and profitability.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with the Director of FO and General Manager to establish departmental goals, and then translate those into individual goals and targets for all team members.
  • Warranty Administration: Ensure the highest possible amount of warranty assistance is received and that all payments are processed promptly.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish and document SOPs for all processes within your departments and assist other departments (sales, administration, detailing) in SOP creation.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to your team through continuous learning and development, fostering a culture that achieves all goals and plans.
