QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • 3+ years of experience in a Service Manager, Parts Manager, or Fixed Ops leadership role (automotive dealership experience required).
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and achieve financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of dealership DMS systems (PBS or similar).
  • Knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes and CSI metrics.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-first attitude and strong business acumen.
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Fixed Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the strategic leadership and daily management of both the service and parts departments. You’ll lead a team of Technicians, Advisors, and parts personnel to deliver top-tier results in customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and departmental performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the performance of the Service and Parts departments, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage staffing, training, and development of service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel.
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction (CSI) and resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Implement and monitor KPI’s such as absorption rate, hours per RO, technician productivity, and part inventory turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and warranty processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales and Finance teams to support dealership-wide objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to grow fixed operations revenue through retention programs, upsells, and service campaigns.
