Responsibilities

We are looking for a Fixed Plant – Mechanical Fitter/Operator based at our Ranger Rehabilitation Project in Jabiru to execute efficient day-to-day operation and maintenance activities of the Brine Concentrator while pro-actively working to identify opportunities for improvement.

Bus-in; Bus Out from Darwin and working a rotating Day/Night – 12.65 hour – 7:7 roster and reporting to the Brine Concentrator Operations & Maintenance Supervisor, you will be:

  • Carrying out maintenance work as required including scheduled work, break-in work, and maintenance shutdowns
  • Monitoring fixed plant infrastructure, equipment status and trends so that plant stability is optimised
  • Assisting with the completion of relevant incident investigations
  • Working in hot, humid, and wet challenging environmental conditions including working at heights and within confined spaces
