We're looking for a friendly and efficient Fixed Term Cafe Assistant to provide exceptional service to our visitors. As a key member of our cafe team, you'll contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving delicious food and beverages. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe area Restock supplies and assist with inventory management Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures Assist with setting up and closing down the cafe as needed Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Knowledge of food handling and safety practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong team player with good communication skills Previous experience in food service or cafe environment preferred Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed Food Safety Certification, and ability to engage with museum visitors are a plus Additional Information Benugo has built a culture of inclusivity & progression for all employees.
