We are looking for a Fixed term contract SEND Support worker, TERM TIME ONLY to provide 1-1 support for a 2 year old child with additional needs. This will be for approx 15 Hours per week, may increase later on in the year, reliant on continued funding from Bedford Borough Council. Potentially this position could run from Sept 2025 to end of the school year in July 2027 though this is dependent on continued funding from Bedford Borough Council.

Experience:

• Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

• Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs in an early years setting.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the development of each child’s skills.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to create tailored learning plans.
• Communicate effectively with children to enhance their understanding and engagement.
• Assist in daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

  Pay: £12.21 per hour
