Flag Person / Traffic Control Firma Contracting is currently seeking Flaggers to work on underground and earthworks projects located in Edmonton. Responsibilities: Physical tasks, including digging, sweeping, sampling, lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials Flagging for traffic and pedestrians Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed Actively participate in all safety meetings General site housekeeping Qualifications: Previous construction experience is required Prior flagging experience is an asset Flag person certification is an asset Understand how to use power/small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc. Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day Positive attitude / team player Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction Safety Certifications: CSTS 2020 (required) WHMIS 2015 (required)
Responsibilities
