In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around Bridgewater. This is the perfect job for someone who loves working outdoors, on their feet, and as a team! We even provide transportation for our employees to and from work!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
  • Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
  • Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment on construction sites.
  • Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
  • Valid TCP Certification an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 License an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas.
  • Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
  • Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
  • Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
  • Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
