POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Flatbed Sales & LTL Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for securing freight from customers, negotiating rates, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring on-time delivery. You’ll play a key role in maintaining relationships with clients and keeping operations running smoothly. Pay is relevant to your past experience and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in freight sales, dispatching, or logistics
• Strong understanding of freight lanes, rates, and equipment, past experience with customers
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in the Fleetmanager/Transplus software and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers
• Secure new freight opportunities via calls, emails, and networking
• Dispatch flatbed and LTL loads efficiently and cost-effectively through online software platforms such as Loadlink, DAT, and Truckstop
• Negotiate rates with customers and brokers
• Track and trace shipments; proactively resolve issues
• Communicate daily with customers and internal teams to maintain communications
• Ensure compliance with MC, DOT and company policies
