Flatbed Tow Operator (Class C) Location: Miami, FL Pay: $28/hr Schedule: Full-Time (30+ hrs/week) Shifts: • Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm • Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–11:30pm Summary This role focuses on safe and accurate recovery of company vehicles on public roads, operating a Dodge Ram 3500 with flatbed equipment, and transporting loads using flatbed towing systems. Operators must remain fully compliant with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. R&D means Research & Development — referring to the early testing and development phase before commercial launch. Responsibilities • Operate and safely conduct vehicle recovery tasks on public roads • Pull a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001–26,000 lbs (current flatbed equipment GVWR: 20,000 lbs) • Secure cargo and ensure safe, efficient transport • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles, materials, and trailers • Follow all DOT regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatch and ground support • Operate flatbed towing equipment, including winching procedures • Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs, including hours of service • Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fueling, oil changes, tire checks, minor repairs) • Collaborate with logistics and cross-functional teams to support customer experience Required Skills & Qualifications • Valid Class C driver’s license • 2+ years flatbed towing experience preferred • Clean driving record with no moving violations • Must pass background check, drug test, and meet DOT medical requirements • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and enter/exit vehicle repeatedly • Ability to operate large/heavy vehicles with attention, skill, and dexterity • Strong communication and organization skills • Flexible with work hours • Team-oriented and hands-on • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment Please make sure you have all, before applying: • Class C Driver’s License • Towing experience on public roads • Flatbed operation experience • Experience communicating with dispatch or ground crews • Clean driving record • Able to pass background check and drug screen • Availability for Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–11:30pm shift • Pay rate acceptance of $28/hour • Able to submit a Driver's license on request Please reply all the questions fully, and check your email inbox for next steps Good Luck!
