Position Description: Fleet Administration Officer
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Daily maintenance of fleet administration database
- Work schedules and orders provided on time
- Provide administration support to the fleet team
- Carry out procurement activities to support fleet operations
- Vehicle insurance claim management
- Assist with preparation of tenders for plant and vehicles
- Carry out annual audits of all Council and RFS plant
- Maintain and monitor plant replacement program
- Maintain and monitor Councils internal hire rate system
- Store issuing, returns and processing for minor plant
- Promote information sharing and knowledge transfer to drive evidence-based decision-making, enhance capability and optimise capacity
- Contribute to the performance of Council: demonstrate professional conduct, make the best use of knowledge, experience and skills and be accountable for own decisions and actions
- Contribute to a safe workplace: comply with legislative and organisational requirements and be accountable for own decisions and actions
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate III qualification or above, in Business Administration, or a related discipline with demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role; or substantial contemporary experience in a similar role to support contemporary knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to effectively maintain databases
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats
- Demonstrated ability to purchase goods and services while maintaining budget compliance
- Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes that contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals
- Current Class C drivers Licenc
