• Manage a team of dispatchers and drivers, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement optimized routing and scheduling strategies to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
• Monitor fleet performance and maintenance schedules, coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure vehicle uptime and safety compliance.
• Respond to and resolve urgent operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or traffic disruptions, with swift and effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, driver hours, and delivery statuses for reporting and analysis.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring all drivers and dispatchers adhere to established protocols.
