Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Fleet and Yard Driver to join our team based at our Dry Creek, SA depot. This is a full-time permanent role, ideal for an experienced driver looking for long-term stability within a structured logistics and transport environment. Role Details: Full-time position Monday to Friday Occasional overtime, weekend, and public holiday work as required Rate $37.6583 plus Super Key Responsibilities: Complete allocated pick ups and delivery runs. Container rail drop offs. Confident on two way radio communication. Ability to help out as part of team Ready to adapt to ever changing run structure due to business requirement Act as back up yard driver on Tug truck. Coordinating yard movements when required Coordinate trailer movements in line with operational priorities Communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth yard operations Support linehaul and freight loading/unloading activities as required Conduct safety checks and report hazards or congestion issues Assist subcontractors and visiting drivers with yard navigation and safety compliance Ensure all movements comply with WHS policies and site procedures Maintain clear communication via radio systems Requirements: Current MC Licence – Essential (held for minimum 2 years preferred) Forklift license LF Experience in yard driving, fleet operations, or heavy vehicle movement – Preferred Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS practices Experience with load restraint systems and equipment Ability to operate in a fast-paced yard environment Strong communication skills (verbal and written) High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Physically fit, including repetitive entry and exit of vehicle What we offer: Our Brand: Team Global Express was listed as one of LinkedIn's Top Companies of 2023 in Australia.
