JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to support the daily operations of our heavy truck fleet. This role is responsible for coordinating vehicle scheduling, maintenance, compliance, and driver communication to ensure smooth and efficient fleet performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proven experience managing a fleet of heavy trucks (5+ years preferred).
· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
· Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Valid driver’s license; CDL required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

· Fleet Operations
· Oversee daily operations of the heavy truck fleet, ensure all trucks/trailers are ready to operate.
· Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, tire wear and driver performance to optimize efficiency.
· Maintenance & Compliance
· Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
· Develop and manage tire program and oversee tire vendors.
· Ensure all vehicles meet DOT and other regulatory standards, including annual certifications.
· Coordinate inspections, repairs, and service with external vendors.
· Monitor DVIR daily, fix or schedule needed repairs.
· Budgeting & Cost Control
· Manage fleet budgets, including fuel, maintenance, and tire costs
· Analyze cost reports and identify opportunities for savings.
· Technology & Reporting
· Utilize Samsara to track vehicle data and generate reports.
· Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, and service history as required.
· Vendor & Contract Management
· Seek best cost solutions for inventory products, parts, and tires.
· Ensure timely procurement of parts and services.
· Shuttle equipment to and from outside vendors.
