Job Title: HGV Fleet Technician
Location: Pilsworth, Bury
Salary: Up to £20 per hour, £46,800 pa, overtime opportunities

Crown Oil is a well-established and leading fuel distributor seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Fleet Technician to join our workshop team in Pilsworth. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining our fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise will help reduce downtime and enhance the overall performance of our fleet.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
• Experience with trailers is required, as our fleet includes road-articulated LGV’s
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Valid driving license: HGV license preferred.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.

Experience:

• HGV Mechanic: 2 years (required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct 6-weekly routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles, including rigids, trailers and tankers.
• Perform fault diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs as required.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all servicing and repairs conducted.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary parts.
