QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience within the trucking and transportation industry
  • Excel and Word Skills
  • AS 400 experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail in regulatory documentation and compliance processes.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving compliance requirements and operational needs.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage all licensing and registration documentation for fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the prorate renewal process for vehicle registrations.
  • Manage National Safety Code renewals.
  • Coordinate the application and renewal processes for business licenses at terminal locations.
  • Manage the application and renewal process for Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) permits.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for drivers and fleet operations is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for owner-operators as required.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) program and in-cab camera systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including Safety and Operations, to support compliance initiatives.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Apply basic mathematical skills to compliance-related tasks.
  • Utilize computer and keyboarding proficiency to manage documentation and reporting.
  • Prioritize and manage urgent issues effectively while maintaining a collaborative approach with internal teams.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure effective regulatory adherence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
