About the role

Durack Civil is looking for a high-energy Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to work alongside the Plant Superintendent and help keep a large civil construction fleet moving. You'll be coordinating servicing, chasing parts, organising floats, speaking with suppliers, following up mechanics and helping solve logistical problems that come with operating a large fleet across multiple civil construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate servicing and maintenance of the light vehicle fleet
• Order and chase plant, vehicle and workshop parts
• Coordinate suppliers, mechanics and service providers
• Organise floats and plant movements between projects
• Assist with vehicle and plant registrations, servicing schedules and records
• Track outstanding repairs, parts and maintenance requirements
• Help coordinate breakdown responses and urgent parts
• Assist the Plant Superintendent with the day-to-day running of the fleet
• Stay on top of the detail and follow things through until they're done

About you

• High energy and exceptionally organised
• Comfortable juggling a lot of moving pieces
• Relentless with follow-up
• Confident dealing with suppliers, mechanics, drivers and site teams
• Practical and willing to jump in wherever required
• Good on the phone and quick with systems
• Calm when plans change
• Experience in civil construction, transport, automotive, mechanical, fleet, logistics or plant hire would be highly regarded
