POSITION SUMMARY:

Sea Country Towing is looking for a highly organized, proactive Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and repair schedules of our tow truck fleet. This role requires a detail-oriented and multi-tasking professional who will ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards with minimal downtime, maximizing fleet efficiency and reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in fleet coordination, automotive maintenance, or a related role (preferably in the towing or transportation industry).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software and maintenance tracking systems.
  • Budgeting and inventory control experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule routine and emergency maintenance and repairs for the tow truck fleet.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records for all fleet vehicles.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Track and manage parts inventory to ensure necessary components are available when needed.
  • Work closely with vendors, mechanics, and service providers to coordinate timely repairs.
  • Develop and manage a fleet maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on fleet status, maintenance costs, and vehicle downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with safety regulations and inspections.
  • Continuously evaluate maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
