Description Position Overview: Budget is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance and vendor coordination. This role ensures vehicles are well-maintained, compliant, and efficiently managed throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet maintenance, Body Damage and/or estimating experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships and maintenance schedules with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Fleet Lifecycle Management o Oversee in-fleeting and out-fleeting processes, ensuring smooth onboarding and decommissioning of vehicles. o Maintain accurate records of vehicle conditions during acquisition and disposal. - Routine Maintenance Oversight o Schedule and manage routine preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize repair costs. o Ensure all maintenance complies with company and regulatory standards. o Body Damage & Claims Management o Handle damage claims, including estimating repair costs, coordinating with body shops, and ensuring timely repairs. o Maintain documentation and follow up on insurance claims where applicable. o Fuel Management o Monitor and control fuel usage and expenses, including managing fuel programs and reporting, KDHE Certifications and compliance - Inventory Management o Track and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and vehicle parts. o Ensure proper stocking levels to reduce downtime. o Vendor Relations o Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with external service providers, including repair shops, parts suppliers, and fuel vendors. o Negotiate pricing and service level agreements to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually, based on experience, Plus Bonus - Performance Bonus with profit share - Company Vehicle Provided - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off & Holidays - 401k Program Requirements Qualifications: - Proven experience in fleet or maintenance management - Strong understanding of vehicle systems, preventative maintenance, and repair practices - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Familiarity with inventory systems and maintenance tracking software a plus - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
