Description
  Cass Clay Creamery is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and oversee mechanics responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on DFA-owned equipment. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, compliantly, and within budget.  Join a team committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.   Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Plan and manage daily/weekly maintenance schedules; prioritize workload to meet operational needs. * Supervise mechanics to ensure high-quality, timely repairs and maintenance. * Monitor shop financials, including labor, parts, and inventory; control costs and approve expenses within authority. * Review DVIRs and manage documentation using fleet management systems. * Ensure compliance with company policy, OSHA, and DOT regulations. * Inspect completed repairs for quality and safety compliance. * Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. * Maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and quality service. * Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and assist with incident investigations. * Oversee shop organization and cleanliness. * Manage staff scheduling, timecards, hiring, training, and performance management.
