FLEET MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Wilride Transport Ltd. is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. We have been in business for more than 30 years, and have approximately 200 pieces of equipment (trucks and trailers).
Responsibilities include supervising and managing fleet maintenance, repairs, and emergency situations, including after hours.
We have an established and comprehensive maintenance program to ensure safe operations.
Duties include:
· Ensuring equipment reliability, availability, safety, and compliance with government regulations
· Managing road repairs and emergency breakdowns
· Managing maintenance schedules, including scheduled PM’s
· Manage third-party maintenance services
· Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, safety inspections and repairs
· Working with operations teams to ensure equipment up time
Qualifications and compensation:
· At least five years’ experience in fleet maintenance
· Suitable training and education; mechanic experience/training an asset
· Solid knowledge of truck/trailer operations, maintenance and repairs
· Demonstrated knowledge of relevant transportation regulations
· Experience with fleet maintenance software would be an asset
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Permanent, full-time; on-site Monday to Friday
· Base salary from $80,000 per year, subject to qualifications and experience; bonus program tied to performance
