Role Overview: Fleet Management Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s fleet and transport partners to ensure sufficient capacity, cost efficiency, and operational reliability. The role focuses on fleet acquisition, onboarding, retention, pricing, capacity planning, supplier coordination, and payment follow-ups, while working closely with sourcing and dispatch teams to ensure on-time fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: Fleet Management & Capacity Manage fleet capacity to meet operational demand and fulfillment requirements. Ensure availability of vehicles and transport partners for daily operations. Monitor fleet performance and utilization to avoid shortages or excess capacity. Support supplier tiering and classification based on performance and reliability. Acquisition, Onboarding & Retention Acquire and onboard new fleet suppliers and transport partners. Manage fleet reactivation for inactive or underutilized suppliers. Maintain strong relationships to improve retention and long-term engagement. Coordinate contracting and documentation with fleet suppliers. Pricing, Margins & Commercials Support pricing discussions with fleet suppliers to ensure competitive rates. Monitor margins and cost structures related to fleet operations. Align pricing with sourcing and operations strategy. Operations Coordination Coordinate closely with sourcing, dispatching, and fulfillment teams. Support dispatching activities to ensure smooth execution of deliveries. Track fleet execution and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational timelines. Contribute to on-time delivery performance. Payments & Documentations Follow up on fleet supplier payments and resolve payment-related issues. Ensure timely collection and submission of required documents. Coordinate soft copy submissions within 24 hours and hard copy submissions within defined timelines. Ensure documentation is complete, stamped, and compliant with internal requirements Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics operations, sourcing, or transportation. Experience working with fleet suppliers, transporters, or third-party logistics providers. Skills: Fleet capacity planning and utilization management. Supplier acquisition, onboarding, and retention. Pricing negotiation and margin control. Dispatch coordination and operational execution. Performance tracking and SLA management. Cost optimization and budget control. Strong stakeholder and vendor management. Problem-solving in fast-paced operations. Reporting and data analysis (Excel / fleet systems). Documentation and compliance follow-up.
