Fleet Manager
My client specialises in Transportation and Logistics and offers an Australian wide service. They are highly regarded within their field and employ only dependable, experienced people when recruiting for new staff.
My client is now looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join their organisation in their Murarrie location.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • Sound experience in delegating and assigning tasks relating to vehicle management.
  • Responsible to assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for all fleet logistics and monitoring all aspects of costs and profits from vehicle wear to fuel costs.
  • Reduce transportation and staff costs.
  • Driven to deliver overall optimization of the company’s fleet management process.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience in purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries.
  • Registering and licensing vehicles.
  • Finding ways to cut costs and maximise profits.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Negotiation & Conflict Resolution Ability.
  • Working alongside other departments to improve processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • To ensure deliveries and distributions are made on time.
  • Make sure vehicles are available and operating as required.
  • Excellent knowledge of internal systems and Administration duties.
