MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, or a similar field.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong familiarity with Cochrane and the surrounding area.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring stooping, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-motivated, proactive approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your workload independently.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Fleet Manager for Bird in Cochrane, you’ll play a vital role in managing our fleet of e-scooters to meet the community’s transportation needs. Using Bird’s mobile technology, you will monitor, transport, rebalance, and maintain the fleet, ensuring safe, environmentally friendly scooters are available to riders nearby.
This role is ideal for a self-driven, entrepreneurial individual who thrives on autonomy, has excellent time-management skills, and enjoys solving challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the charging, deployment, relocation, and retrieval of e-scooters in Cochrane.
  • Implement local strategies and initiatives to improve fleet performance and meet market demand.
  • Use Bird’s tools and technology to monitor fleet operations effectively.
  • Act as your own boss, managing your schedule and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient fleet operations.
  • Problem-solve operational challenges independently and adapt quickly to changes.
