ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Use of Smartphone, Laptop, and Tablet Technology to Record all Repairs Repairs and Maintains Light & Medium Duty Customer Vehicles Some Heavier Class 8-9 Experience with industrial and heavy equipment helpful (skid steer, backhoe, farm tractors, trailers, atv's, etc.) Standard Tech Owned Tools Required Major Shop Tools and Diagnostic Equipment is Provided Other duties may be assigned PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write detailed reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of hands-on experience Strong diagnostic and repair skills in engines, brakes, electrical, and suspension systems Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for diagnostics and work order entry Must have own tools Allison Transmission experience is a PLUS CERTIFICATES and LICENSES Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years. No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI). Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
