Position Summary
We’re seeking a proactive Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of fleet operations, including oversight of two dedicated freight accounts. The ideal candidate will manage dispatch, driver performance, routing, compliance, and customer communication—ensuring on-time delivery and maximizing asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities
· * Manage and optimize operations for two dedicated freight accounts, ensuring 100% coverage and customer satisfaction
· * Supervise daily dispatch functions and monitor real-time performance for OTR and dedicated fleet
· * Coordinate load planning, backhaul strategy, and route efficiency across company assets
· * Monitor driver logs and ensure full compliance with DOT/HOS and company policies
· * Maintain direct communication with customers on service updates, performance, and load execution
· * Handle driver onboarding, retention, and scheduling; build a driver-first culture
· * Oversee maintenance schedule and equipment readiness for dedicated and general fleet
· * Track operational KPIs such as on-time percentage, trailer turns, fuel economy, and detention
· * Collaborate with leadership to implement cost-saving initiatives and fleet growth plans
Requirements
· * 5+ years of operations or dispatch management in trucking, with experience supporting dedicated freight
· * Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS, and ELD platforms
· * Ability to manage multiple drivers, routes, and customer expectations simultaneously
· * Proficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
· * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
· * CDL a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
