Fleet Operations Supervisor – OTR Trucking Greensboro, North Carolina Full-Time, $40,000- $55,000 Description Givens Transportation is hiring a Fleet Operations Supervisor to support and oversee over-the-road driver operations across the United States. This position plays a key role in coordinating freight movement, supporting drivers, and ensuring customers receive safe and on-time service. The ideal candidate will have strong transportation operations experience, understand nationwide trucking logistics, and thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly throughout the day. This role also includes leadership responsibilities involving driver accountability, communication, and operational support. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily operations for OTR company drivers nationwide * Coordinate freight movement based on driver availability, Hours of Service, equipment, and customer requirements * Track shipments and proactively address delays, service concerns, breakdowns, or routing issues * Provide leadership and day-to-day support to drivers and fleet operations * Handle driver coaching, performance discussions, attendance concerns, and documentation when needed * Review and approve driver payroll and timekeeping records * Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards * Communicate with maintenance teams regarding equipment repairs and service scheduling * Work closely with customers and internal departments to provide load and delivery updates * Maintain accurate operational records, dispatch notes, and reporting documentation Qualifications * Minimum 1 year of experience in trucking, transportation operations, or fleet coordination * Previous leadership or driver management experience preferred * Experience with McLeod software required * Strong computer and Excel skills * Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience * Health benefits * Paid time off
