Own and lead the implementation of the EHS standards assigned directly by Plant EHS Manager Provide EHS advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team using different approaches (direct and support them to implement and comply with all EHS requirements in a sustainable manner. Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports. Conducts behavioral safety observations and provide support to develop site BS program. Co-ordinate the implementation and conduct EHS trainings as identified by EHS manager. Effective communication with all stakeholders at all levels of the plant. Monitor compliance on the shop floor in general (PPEs, KSBs, and SWPs and ensure addressing the immediate required actions to correct situation and escalate where needed. Update safety logs/registers and file and control of all safety records. Check and Update all EHS communication means (Monitor, NM Boards, Sign Boards etc) and report fix any incorrect situation (damage, outage, missing form, etc.) Active participation in the risk assessments, accident investigations, communication, planning, Reward and Recognition (R&R), Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP), monitoring, inspections and audits as assigned by the EHS Manager. Follow up with all plant departments to ensure EHS reports are done in due time. Follow up with all plant departments on the completion and effectiveness of Corrective/Preventive Actions (C/PA) and provide support where needed. Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices. Ensure all works (non-routine, critical, 3rd party etc) are done under the appropriate and compliant permit to work. Active participation in developing, maintain, reviewing and continual improvement of EHS systems and producers (SSOW, SWPs, SOPs, etc) Ensuring EHS tools/equipment and all critical to safety equipment are calibrated. Ensure readiness of all EHS systems (Alarm and firefighting and fire suppression systems, emergency lights, CCTV and take immediate necessary actions in case of any partial or full impairment or malfunctions. Any Emerging situations and other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose. Qualifications Strong people management skills. Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy. Experience and knowledge of EHS applicable legislations. Excellent Planning & Organizing skills. Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviors of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship. Recognized EHS qualification; preferably NEBOSH IGC3. Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages and literacy in computer usage. Ability to coach and support others to ensure requirements understood/met.
