Description

Top Orange County Ford dealership is seeking a Fleet Sales Manager for immediate hire.
This position oversees and manages the sales of vehicles to commercial and governmental entities, often referred to as “fleet” customers.
You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with these clients, understanding their specific vehicle needs, and negotiating sales agreements.
In addition to sales, you may also manage inventory, handle paperwork, and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire and retain fleet customers. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Building strong, long-term relationships with fleet clients, understanding their unique requirements, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Inventory Management:

Working with the dealership’s inventory to ensure a suitable selection of vehicles for fleet customers.

  • Pricing and Negotiation:

Expertly pricing vehicles and negotiating sales agreements with fleet clients.

  • Documentation:

Managing the paperwork associated with fleet sales, including contracts, financing, and registration.

  • Delivery and Logistics:

Ensuring timely delivery of vehicles to fleet customers, coordinating logistics and any necessary vehicle modifications.
Skills and Qualifications:

INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:

Familiarity with the automotive industry, particularly fleet sales, and specific vehicle models and their applications.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in using CRM software and other tools for managing customer data and sales processes.
