Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fleet Sales Manager to join our team at a thriving automotive dealership. The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for handling all commercial,government and fleet business including any special orders. Must present a professional appearance. Key Responsibilities: • Process all commerical and fleet inventory orders after obtaining Operations Director’s approval. • Ensure stock numbers are issued and affixed to incoming dealer-transferred units. • Act as liasion between the customers and the manufacturer(s) on commerical sale needs. • Review all sources for any commercial, government or fleet bid opportunities. • Cultivate as much commerical business as possible. • Monitor facility’s order base. • Know and understand federal, state and local laws which govern auto sales. • Maintain owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. • Knowledgeable in vehicle financing for small commercial accounts. • Work with Operations Director to determine if a vehicle should be sold as wholesale or retail, and determine necessary reconditioning. • Do not place any fleet/commercial orders until appropriate documentation is received from customer. • Facilitate new vehicle pre-delivery with the Service Manager and outside suppliers. • Handle all inquiries regarding fleet or commercial sales. • Prepare bid proposals. • Determine monthly and annual forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives and departmental profits. • Complete all training as directed by management. • Follow policies and procedures as 3 years in automotive sales. Knowledge of all types of vehicles. One year commercial/fleet sales experience preferred.
