Description Reporting to the Corporate Parts Sales Manager, the Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with an assigned list of national accounts to drive parts and labor sales growth. This role involves working closely with sales teams, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues, address customer needs, and promote the company’s products and services. Regular travel within the state is required to meet with stakeholders and build strong, long-lasting relationships. Responsibilities: • Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned list of national accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. • Sales Growth: Identify and execute strategies to grow parts and labor sales with national accounts. Collaborate with sales teams to drive business opportunities and meet sales targets. • Customer Engagement: Conduct regular on-site visits to meet with customers and understand their business needs. Build trust and rapport with key decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships. • Problem Resolution: Partner with internal departments to address and resolve customer issues promptly. Act as an advocate for the customer while ensuring alignment with company policies and goals. • Industry Involvement: Represent the company at industry meetings and conferences to network and stay informed about trends and opportunities. Strengthen relationships with industry professionals to enhance the company’s reputation and influence. • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the Director of Parts Operations and the Part Sales Manager on account activities, opportunities, and challenges. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales efforts. Qualifications: • Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns. • Willingness to travel as needed. • Knowledge of the automotive or trucking parts and service market is a plus.
