POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall management and performance of our vehicle maintenance facility. Role involves overseeing a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring the timely and efficient repair and maintenance of our trucking fleet. Additionally, will manage budgets, implement preventive maintenance programs, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime, optimize vehicle performance, and support the company’s logistics and transportation operations

Responsibilities
  • Schedules, trains, and coordinates work of mechanics and technicians.
  • Ensures inventory of replacement parts, tools, and equipment is maintained effectively.
  • Effectively manages team of Technicians and Shop Service Writer though people focused leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Establishes and enforces quality and safety standards and regulations for preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • Experienced in heavy diesel engine diagnosis and repairs.
