About the Role Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, the Fleet Specialist is responsible for assisting with BYD and Denza fleet operations across relevant departments and supporting the fleet team. This role ensures active participation in vehicle evaluations with our business partners, fleet management organizations and prospects. There will also be on-going project, tender & report participation. This may include tender documents, pricing, reports, data-analysis. Small amount of inter-state travel may be required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Evaluation Fleet Co-ordination & Presentation Assist in the delivery and collection of evaluation units Provide professional onsite hand-overs to ensure the driver / evaluation manager can confidently operate BYD products Co-ordinate & assist with Fleet Management Organizations (FMO) and Salary Sacrifice organisations to ensure that they evaluate BYD products Maintain and update accurately the fleet evaluation sheet Work closely with BYD dealer partners for evaluation vehicle use where required Attend industry events where required to assist in bump in / out, interacting with current & potential customers Assist in the co-ordination of Fleet Events & Activities 2. Fleet Projects, Reporting & Data Analytics Assist in on-going fleet projects, varying from light technical understanding to process documentations Assist in the submission of Request for Information, Request for Pricing & other tender documents, with a high level of accuracy Work closely with the retail data team to develop new fleet focused reports to show further opportunities for the BYD Business Development Manager(s) and National Fleet Sales Manager Assist with ad-hoc reports required from the fleet departments for internal presentations (BYD Australia & BYD Global) Liaise and collaborate with multiple areas of the BYD Australia business to help development and create new programmes that Fleet Department assists with 3. Stakeholder & Dealer Engagement Work closely with dealer partners on fleet sales, training, and best practices Coordinate with logistics, marketing, and sales teams to align fleet and project activities with BYD internal goals Manage third-party suppliers such as transport, fleet management and vehicle fit-out providers Qualifications & Experience: Formal Qualification in Business, Automotive, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in fleet sales, vehicle leasing, within an OEM, distributor, large dealer group or Fleet Management Organisation Strong understanding of the Australian Fleet landscape Experience with fleet management software, ERP, or CRM systems. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools. Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
