Job Title: Fleet Supervisor     Level:  Hourly  Department: Safety  Reports to: Health & Safety Director   HOURS: 8AM-5PM    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES  * Program management and training of all powered industrial trucks (PIT), including fork trucks, aerial lifts, yard trucks, tractors, skid steers, floor scrubbers and telehandlers, to ensure safe operating practices.  * At least 50-75% of time spent walking through the facility evaluating PIT compliance.  * Develop and maintain appropriate notices for management to track forklift issues, including impacts, for hazard identification and abatement.  * Investigate accidents and develop measures to prevent recurrences.  * Manage the dashcam system access, maintenance issues, and training opportunities.  * Work with the Truck Shop to identify and correct PIT related issues.  * Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for assigned area of responsibility.  * In conjunction with Safety Team, ensure 100% compliance with all OSHA and DOT required compliance.  * Management of safe forklift battery and propane operations.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  * Coordinated with safety staff on training and certification needs.  * Monitor, maintain, and ensure that all operators are in compliance.     LANGUAGE SKILLS  * Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and manage fleet programs.  * Ability to read and interpret documents such as written safety programs, operating and procedure manuals.    * Ability to interact effectively with vendors, auditors, or other  3rd party affiliates.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  * Must be proficient in Microsoft office  * Must be coachable and have the professional ability to coach others  * Must be able to handle and manage confidential information  * Prior performance evaluations scores should meet or exceed expectations  * 1-3 Years of leadership experience  * Must be highly motivated and self-sufficient.   * Must be able to work flexible hours which may include Saturdays and Sundays. 
Responsibilities
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for managing and training staff on powered industrial trucks to ensure safe operating practices and facility compliance. They will also investigate accidents, maintain dashcam systems, and ensure adherence to OSHA and DOT safety standards.
