Based: Middleton, Manchester
We are seeking a proactive, customer focussed, organised, and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team managing a large, complex fleet of HGVs and trailers. This office-based position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, excellent coordination skills, and a background in fleet compliance and operations.
You’ll play a central role in keeping the fleet moving — liaising with workshops, and suppliers, and ensuring that all compliance, servicing, and breakdown activities are efficiently managed.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven background in fleet management or HGV operations
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicles, DVSA standards, and maintenance scheduling
• Experience dealing with third-party workshops and parts suppliers
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and fleet/maintenance software

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a large fleet of HGVs and trailers
• Schedule and coordinate servicing, MOTs, inspections, and defect repairs
• Manage and monitor compliance records (e.g., LOLER, tacho, PMI schedules)
• Liaise with suppliers, and repair agents to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate fleet databases and ensure legal and policy compliance
• Report on fleet status, performance, and issues to senior management
• Support accident management and vehicle off-road (VOR) tracking
