Reporting to the National Linehaul Manager, the Fleet Supervisor based in Tumut will bring strong fleet management, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Your focus will be on upholding high safety standards, driving fleet & employee performance, and ensuring service excellence for our clients. In this role, you’ll work closely with a national driving team, engage with both internal and external stakeholders and will thrive in applying your transport and leadership experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of drivers to ensure daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling and allocation is timely and accurate
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers around planning, runs, and delays
  • Conduct proactive assessments of operations with the aim of enhancing efficiency
  • Manage and monitor payroll, driver’s performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing
  • Load planning & optimization via solid analytical skills with the ability to systemically plan resources
  • Recognize opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins through P&L accountability
